This vintage-sounding tube mic is a true studio workhorse with a silver spoon in its mouth. Whilst particularly impressive on vocals (especially female vocals) and steel-strung acoustic guitars, I haven't heard a recording made with this microphone that I haven't been impressed by. Its 9 polar patterns cover all bases and its high frequency response gives what I can only describe as a Champagne finish.
