Marshall 1962 'Bluesbreaker' Vintage Re-issue 2x12" Guitar Amp

The 1962, 2 x 12″ combo was called the ‘Bluesbreaker’ because it was famously used by Eric Clapton with the influential British blues rockers, John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers, in 1966. It was this heady, ‘high in the mix’ sound that made the legend of the 1962.

GZ34 valve rectification plays a pivotal role in helping to achieve that famed output-stage compression and clean sustain, unique to both the ‘Bluesbreaker’ combo and the JTM45 head. Although tonally similar to the JTM45, The 1962 ‘Bluesbreaker’ speakers add to its sonic characteristics.

The 1962 ‘Bluesbreaker’ is loaded with two re-issued Celestion Greenback 25 Watt speakers and has footswitchable Tremolo to recreate that classic ’60s vibe.
