Rosewood back and sides have long been favoured by guitar makers around the world. The tonewood’s stunning appearance and tonal range have seen it grace guitars around the world since the late 1800’s. The solid cedar top provides rich warm tones. Like all Katoh guitars the MCG-50 is very playable and a guitar that will help foster great technique. The CEQ model is even more playable the soft cutaway affording greater access to higher notes and the Fishman EQ setting you up for live performance in larger venues.
