The Gibson Hummingbirdℱ is legendary for its versatility; it is equally at home strumming first-position chords and delivering soaring lead lines. Gibson are pleased to release a new version of the Hummingbird Standard with rosewood back and sides that has all the playing and sonic characteristics you’d expect from the world-renowned square-shouldered acoustic but with slightly fuller bass response and overtone complexity due to the rosewood body. The Hummingbird Standard’s mahogany neck has a comfortable rounded profile and mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays. Also available as left-handed models, these ‘birds have a TUSQ¼ nut, saddle, and bridge pins, gold Grover¼ Rotomatic¼ tuners, the iconic Hummingbird graphics on the pickguards, and are equipped with L.R. Baggs¼ VTC electronics, so they’re ready to plug in on stage or in the studio. A Gibson hard-shell case is included.
