By learning the 6th step (LA) and the Leading Tone (TI) the young violinist reaches the High Tonic (DO') and completes his stepwise ascent. They learn 1-octave scales in G, D and A Major, many new 1-octave songs and duets. There is more left hand technique, violin rhythm work and pencil play, finally a checkup game reviewing violin technique from the 6 Red Books (1st year).
